YGK SUMMER CAMPS
Becoming the best means surrounding yourself with the best.
Our camps see the best goalkeepers in the area come together for high-quality training focused on technique, tactical awareness, and creating a winning mindset.
Some camps are specific to certain age groups. Each group’s training is tailored to the needs of their age, focusing on developing proper technique with the younger players and incorporating more advanced game-like tactical pieces with the older players.
Why choose a YGK camp?
Quality training.
Developing high-level goalkeepers means combining the how of technique with the why of a game-like environment. Our sessions are simple in concept but are designed to mimic real game situations.
Quality staff.
YGK founder Erika Yohn has experienced all levels of the game — from reaching the top tiers of the youth game, to playing in the Big Ten at Purdue University. She now coaches top goalkeepers at the youth level with Total Futbol, and is an assistant with the Howard University Bison. She was previously on staff with West Virginia University from 2021-22 and won a Big 12 Championship with the Mountaineers.
Both institutions boast Goalkeeper of the Year accolades when Erika was on staff.
She brings her vast experience to the individual level, bringing ideas and techniques from a range of sources to best suit the players she coaches.
Quality experience.
While seeing development in individual goalkeepers is always the goal, it’s also crucial to build a sense of community with the YGK players. Goalkeeping is often seen as a solitary position, but the ability to train with and get better from others benefits any goalkeeper who is looking to play at the next level.
